Nominations for the #ThankYouTrucker competition, with the aim of honouring exceptional truck drivers, can still be submitted until Saturday (03/09).
The organisers, The Road Freight Association and Iveco SA, are urging companies in the industry to nominate drivers on thankyoutrucker.co.za.
Recognition entails R50 000 as first prize, the runner-up will receive R10 000 and prize money for third place is R5 000.
The five finalists will be announced on 12 September. The public will then be able to vote until 28 September.
The driver who has the most votes will be announced as the winner on thankyoutrucker.co.za and in the media.
