Boktown is back − and it is heading to Bloemfontein on Saturday, 5 July.
This means you can watch the rugby test mach between the Springboks and Italy at the fanpark along with other enthusiasts.
Powered by Castle Lager, Boktown transforms local fan parks into the best seat outside the stadium.
This national tour brings Springbok test matches to life in towns and cities across South Africa.
The Mangaung Oval next to Att Horak Street in the city is next in line to host the green-and-gold gees.
Supporters in Bloemfontein can look forward to a full festival-style match-day experience.
With live music, rugby legends and big-screen action, Castle Lager Boktown promises a thrilling day for fans of all ages.
Fan activities and giveaways also take place. Young Bok fans can play safely in a supervised kids’ zone.
The entertainment line-up includes Majozi, Karlien van Jaarsveld, and Die Heuwels Fantasties, alongside appearances by Springbok Legends, fan activations, food markets, and more.
The day culminates in the live screening of the match on a massive screen.
“Castle Lager Boktown is more than a viewing experience,” says Thomas Lawrence, Castle Lager brand director.
“It’s where supporters come together to celebrate, cheer and share in the spirit of the Springboks.
“We are proud to bring that energy to Bloemfontein.”
Rian Oberholzer, CEO of SA Rugby, adds: “Springbok rugby belongs to all South Africans.
“Boktown ensures fans who can’t get to the stadium still feel part of the action.
“It brings rugby home in the truest sense.”
Gates at the Mangaung Oval opens at 12:00, with the big-screen kick-off at 17:00.
