Laughter has a healing effect in even the darkest of times. The Mangaung Weekend of Laughter is set to illustrate this with ten acts over two days in the Bloemfontein Civic Theatre.
This stand-up comedy event takes place on Thursday (22/09) and Friday.
The comics who are billed to enthral comedy lovers promise to offer a powerhouse of experiences designed to empower young people.
It is envisaged that the event will be staged in the Free State capital annually.
It is organised by local philanthropist and comedian Joseph Sebeho, who will be among the acts to get people laughing. His stage name is Kagisure.
Others billed to perform include King Flat, Rasta Eye n Eye, Jay Boogie, Teboho Goodenough, Pelepele, Siya Seya and Gaopalelwe Gaeswe.
According to Sebeho, two surprise acts will feature alongside the billed comics performing per show on the two days.
Both shows are scheduled to start at 18:00. Tickets cost R200.
