The best young mathematicians will put their numeracy skills to the test when competing in Mangaung’s Professional Learning Communities (PLC) Mathematics Olympiad in Bloemfontein.
This year’s event will be presented at the Grassland Primary School on Wednesday (26/10), starting at 09:00.
Participation is exclusively for learners in Gr. 3 to Gr. 7.
No less than 450 participants representing 31 schools, including farm schools, will compete for prizes.
The PLC initiative presents educators with an opportunity to improve their level of competence by sharing ideas to enhance teaching practices and create a learning environment. The ulimate goal is to aid learners in reaching their full potential.
