Residents from Mangaung must note that the electricity supply will be interupted on Friday July 1 from 09:00 until 16:00 or on Tuesday July 5 from 09:00 till 16:00.
The affected areas in Mangaung are Chris Hani 1 and 2, Turflaagte, Bloemside 7,5,6 and 4, Rodenbeck, part of Freedom Square, Naledi Square, Ipopeng and Phelindaba. According to a notice from infrastructure support services the shutdown is necessary for construction and or maintenance upgrades on the network.
The power may be restored wihtout warning at any time during the shutdown period and all installations must therefore be treated as live and dangerous.
Should the power not be interrupted within one hour of the scheduled starting time, please ignore this notice, as the scheduled maintenance has been postponed due to unforseen circumstances. You will receive another notice in due course.
