Workers, presumably employees of the Mangaung Metro Municipality, filling up one of the numerous potholes in Dr Belcher Road, Bloemfontein, with coarse gravel. Previous efforts have proven that holes filled in this way tend to erode shortly after due to traffic and rainfall. The filling of potholes is part of the government’s Vala Zonke initiative.
