These four men were photographed at dawn on Wednesday (15/06) at the roadside of Nelson Mandela Drive in Bloemfontein, warming themselves by a fire they had made to keep the winter chills at bay. Such scenes are common during the winter season, as scores of people make fire at strategic places in Bloemfontein’s central business district and beyond to fend off the cold weather.
