The Savanna Comedy Bar show held in Bloemfontein dosed comedy patrons with laugher at two popular entertainment venues in the City of Roses.
This took place at The Zone in Bochabela and at The Other Venue in Westdene, on Wednesday, 3 July, and Thursday, respectively.
Courtesy of Savanna Premium Cider, the events saw local and nationally established comedians share the stage, in the Show Up for Stand Up event.
The shows are part of Savanna’s nationwide tour showcasing the best in local comedians performing across the country. The Savanna Comedy Bar events host a
diverse offering of comedians from different backgrounds, languages and race –
thus bringing to life the #Siyavanna brand to life as we all understand funny.
With the likes of Celeste
Ntuli the headliner at The Zone, popularly referred to as the
queen of Zulu comedy and known for being one of the first female comics to
record a one-woman show. She was
supported by a stellar line-up: Khanyisa, Jam Jam as well as Botshabelo’s
Tumelo Mohlokoane, affectionately known as ColdFire. Together with the host,
Chris Mapane – one of South Africa’s finest funny acts. This line-up had the
audience in stitches throughout the night.
