Altogether 382 suspects will appear in magistrate’s courts across the Free State on various charges.
This comes in the wake of the multi-disciplinary operation conducted by police throughout the province.
During the operation, six illegal firearms and 62 rounds of ammunition were recovered.
According to the police, 141 suspects were busted in connection with serious crimes ranging from murder and attempted murder to rape.
The anti-crime operation, conducted from 30 March to 5 April, culminated in the issuance of fines to 755 culprits for non-compliance and the contravention of the National Road Traffic Act and the Liquor Act.
