Bloemfontein Celtic and the Qwaqwa-based Dikwena United will face off for a slot in this year’s national promotion play-offs.
These teams claimed the top spots in the A and B stream of the Free State’s ABC Motsepe League, respectively.
Dikwena finished on 41 points, and Celtic on 39.
Their fixture will decide the province champion.
The winner will automatically qualify to compete for promotion to the GladAfrica Championship, South Africa’s second highest professional men’s football league.
The venue for the all-important fixture is yet to be announced.
This is the first time Dikwena qualified to compete for the provincial championship title.
