Fitness athletes can start their preparations for the Bloem Classic Body Building Competition that will be hosted for the first time since 2019.
This competition was a regular event at Bloem Show before the Covid-19 pandemic.
Now body builders will again have the opportunity to take centre stage at Bloem Show on Friday, 6 May.
The Bloem Classic, held on the Coca Cola Stage, will start at 17:00.
Hende-Mari Strydom, president of the World Fitness Federation South Africa (WFFSA), invites athletes across the country to participate.
“Athletes can compete in 23 divisions, and prizes are up for grabs,” she says.
Registration will take place from 08:00 to 10:00 at the stage on the showgrounds.
Entry fees are R250 per athlete, with an additional R100 per division. Participation in the denim jean model and glamour division costs R250 each.
Athletes must supply the music for their showcase on a memory stick upon registration.
A limited number of VIP tickets will be available at R200.
