The Caleb Motshabi Table Tennis Club in Batho, Bloemfontein, will celebrate a milestone this March.
The club marks 23 years of existence and will proudly stage the 15th annual Caleb Motshabi Table Tennis Tournament.
The club was formed with the aim of unearthing and developing talented table tennis players and promoting the sport to gain popularity in townships, producing players who have represented their province and country in tournaments along the way.
David Kgabale, coach, said a one-day celebratory tournament would be staged at the Dr RP Molemela Stadium on 11 March.
The competition is open for junior and senior players, who will compete in different categories. A host of clubs are expected to battle it out in the U13, U15, U18, and senior categories.
Interested clubs may register.
Registration costs R50 for junior club players, and R100 for senior club players.
